ABOUT

Life of Krishna.jpg

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, I am a self-taught artist and accessory designer.

My love for the creative arts existed since a very young age which led me to follow my passion professionally as well.

Academically, I hold a degree in Multimedia and Animation. I have worked as a 3D animator for an edu-tech start-up.

In 2009, I quit my job as an animator and started my label for hand painted accessories - ‘CRAZY PALETTE’.

Crazy Palette has made its mark in the fashion world and after more than a decade of success with my label, I decided to pursue my passion for painting further and explore myself as an artist.

Growing up in household with a strong religious influence an interest in Indian mythology is natural to me.  I believe mythology is very largely open to interpretation and through painting I attempt to express my personal inference.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Indian Folk Art forms like Pichhwai, Kalamkari and Pattachitra, which are simple yet expressive, my art is an amalgamation of these age - old techniques with my own style.

I work mainly with inks and acrylics. Inks bring about a sense of fluidity to the canvas which is in contrast to the intricate and definite solidity of acrylics. Although the palette is varied for every canvas, I aim make the viewer feel more energized and optimistic with my color harmonies.
